Recently we reported on ‘Will and Grace’ star Debra Messing and her co-star Eric McCormack calling to expose any donors or attendees of President Trump’s planned Beverly Hills fundraiser. Well, in addition to having to delete a separate retweet condoning the shaming of black Trump supporters by calling them mentally ill, Debra Messing has suffered even more backlash. Check out a post showing the deleted tweet, then scroll on to read more.

A white celebrity on the left @DebraMessing is basically telling black people how to think. Seems like a form of intellectual slavery to me. Liberal policies have hurt black communities around the country and these same people are silent. #RealTalk pic.twitter.com/rRtIOyPcHb

Back to the President Trump fundraiser now, of course Messing and McCormack received the expected anger of conservatives and President Trump. But now she is getting chastised from some unlikely sources.
First, check out the original tweet, where she says, “Please print a list of all attendees please. The public has a right to know.” and the one below it where she subsequently doubles down on exposing people and calling for them to be blacklisted for supporting Trump. In the second one below she shares an article and captioned it:

Even though these tweets are still live, Whoopi Goldberg of The View, yes, you heard that right, has gone off on messing big time! In a video you can check out below, she told Messing that she doesn’t have the right to try to blacklist people, and mentions how people have committed suicide in the past for stunts like this. Joy Behar even agreed as well, and stated, “I happen to be against this kind of thing”, and called it ‘stalking’ and ‘endangering those people’s lives’.
After Behar speaks, Whoopi rants, “do not encourage people to print out lists, because the next list that comes out, your name will be on, and then people will be coming after you.” She then says “You don’t have the right in this country, people can vote for who they want to, that is one of the great rights of this country. You don’t have to like it, but we don’t go after people because we don’t like who they voted for, we don’t go after them that way”
WATCH VIDEO BELOW:
To make matters worse for Messing and McCormack, John O’Hurley, the actor who played J. Peterman, Elaine’s boss in the hit TV series Seinfeld, blasted both of them, calling their actions ‘OBSCENE’. From Western Journal:
“Well, let me just say that I’m embarrassed for both of them,” O’Hurley said. “And I’ll say this because I know them both and I’ve worked with Debra before.”
“They are both smart people,” he continued. “They do wonderful work, but they’re pushing the case that falls apart from the sheer weight of its lunacy as though the Hollywood community needs to be purged of this social and intellectual hygiene problem called conservative thinking.
“It underscores the fact that we aren’t receptive to diversity of thought, which is the exact opposite of what you feel the liberal way would be. And I find that obscene.”

Mark Levin retweeted a Washington Times article highlighting O’Hurley’s comments and captioned it simply, “well said”.

Well, when your fellow Hollywood icons are turning against you for your anti-Trump rhetoric, in a culture that is almost 100% anti-Trump to begin with, I think it’s clear at that point that you, indeed, have gone way too far.
