Whoopi Goldberg Throws Shade at Meghan Markle After She Complains of being ‘Objectified’ on ‘Deal or No Deal’

Meghan Markle, who achieved her dream of marrying a prince, seems to do nothing but play oh poor me since then. When talking about the start of her career in show business Markel said she felt “objectified” as one of the models who was a briefcase-opening assistant.

The View discussed Markle’s newest victimhood complaint and Whoopi Golberg boiled it down pretty fast. “What did you think you were going to do? You know that’s what the show was,” Whoopi remarked.

Whoopi introduces the segment with clips from Markle’s podcast, “I ended up quitting the show. Like I said, I was thankful for the job, but not for how it made me feel”

“I would end up leaving with this pit in my stomach, knowing that I was so much more than what was being objectified on this stage. I didn’t like feeling forced to be all looks and little substance. And that’s how it felt for me at the time, being reduced to this specific archetype.”

Whoopi who seems flabbergasted by Markle’s comments starts out, “Okay, I just want to say, that on that show you basically had a suitcase and they wanted to know is this the deal you want or is this not the deal you want. I don’t know that the people who are sitting there are thinking about you like that. They’re thinking ‘I want the money. “

“Vana White is always in something interesting and beautiful and she’s been doing this. The objectification might be coming from you, and how you felt about how these women were being portrayed. And that’s what you have to change.”

“We’re performers, and when you’re a performer you take the gig, you take the gig. Sometimes you’re in a Bozo suit, sometimes you got a big nose, and this is just the way it is. We’re not journalists, we’re actors. We’re trying to get to another place. And you left and that’s prerogative, but I feel bad because I don’t think people were looking at these girls like this.”

Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin jump in to push back on Whoopi’s viewpoint. Whoopi responds simply, “What did you think you were going to do? You knew what the show was.”

Meghan and Harry have been on a tour of “poor me”. In an article by ‘International News‘ it is explained, “the Duke and Duchess of Sussex provide exactly the opposite of what people need during ‘difficult’ times…Their messaging is woke and poor me and victimhood”

Markle’s messaging hasn’t been well received by many as it seems quite ridiculous. She seems to be a victim of her own making with her podcast and interviews.

It seems that even Whoopi sees through the ridiculousness of Markle’s continued complaints and poor me attitude.
