Wingstop Owner Rick Ross Offers Don Lemon Job, Will Find him a Spot at the Grill to Make ‘Lemon Pepper Wings’

After finding out that Don Lemon was fired after 17 years from CNN, rapper and Wingstop franchise owner Rick Ross has a couple of “creative” ideas to help Lemon out.

Ross (jokingly?) shared that Wingstop is hiring, and he promised to make sure Lemon would get to the front of the grill.

Ross said, “Just found out Don Lemon was terminated from CNN. Damn, Don. But guess what? The brothers got your back. We hiring at Wingstop and for some reason, I believe you know what you doing with them lemon pepper wings. So, man, just send over your résumé. 17 years. Damn. But I’mma make sure I get you in front of the right grill, brother.”

He then shared another idea, “Just came up with a wonderful idea, I’m gonna really don you up. I need you to hit the team over at rap star energy drink and let them know we should introduce the Don Lemon flavor… we got you brother, Don Lemon.”

Ross seemed to be having fun with the news that Lemon was out at CNN, giving him a little bit of a hard time.

Lemon announced on Twitter that he was fired Monday, and CNN has disputed Lemon’s depiction of the events. Nonetheless, Lemon is gone from CNN.

The news of Lemon’s departure came shortly after Fox News released a statement that they had parted ways with their top anchor Tucker Carlson.

These major media shake-ups appear to only be coincidental but will impact both media companies. We will see what is next for Mr. Lemon.
