We recently wrote about 5th district Republican Congressman Denver Riggleman, who is facing a primary challenge from conservative Republican Bob Good, touting a video by the Daily Caller that was pulled by the news outlet.
We have now unearthed a video from March of just last year, 2019, where the Congressman called the late Senator John McCain a “war hero” and said that his “advice” to President Trump was to “Get off Twitter and stop talking.”
ABC 13 – WSET asked me to comment on the President’s tweets about Senator John McCain.
“John McCain is a war hero…this is a man who served our country for a long time. So my advice to him would be to get off twitter and stop talking about the late Senator.”
The video is shared on the official page for the Congressman and so it is clear that he stood by his words.
President Trump had tweeted twice about McCain giving a copy of the first 33 pages of the dossier to the FBI in December 2016, which Fox News said was confirmed by former senior counterintelligence FBI agent Bill Priestap in a newly released filing. British intelligence officer Christopher Steele assembled the dossier that allegedly suggested a coordinated Russian effort to help Trump win the presidency.
In one of the tweets, Trump quoted what former independent counsel Ken Starr, who headed the investigation into the Clinton administration, had said about McCain on Fox & Friends. Trump ended that tweet with a reference to McCain’s vote against the GOP Senate majority in the attempt to repeal Obamacare in 2017.
Spreading the fake and totally discredited Dossier “is unfortunately a very dark stain against John McCain.” Ken Starr, Former Independent Counsel. He had far worse “stains” than this, including thumbs down on repeal and replace after years of campaigning to repeal and replace!

So it was indeed (just proven in court papers) “last in his class” (Annapolis) John McCain that sent the Fake Dossier to the FBI and Media hoping to have it printed BEFORE the Election. He & the Dems, working together, failed (as usual). Even the Fake News refused this garbage!

Given everything that has happened since then with the Russia probe and what has been uncovered since then, it seems that what McCain did might have been a pivotal moment in giving the Obama administration something to run with for their unmasking of soon to be Trump administration officials.
