Earlier this month, we reported on how Republican Gabriel Sterling, who is a voting system implementation manager for Georgia and a former Sandy Springs Councilman, held a press conference where he sharply criticized President Trump and attempted to lecture him for what he perceived to be inciteful rhetoric over potential voter fraud.
In a bizarre turn of events, Sterling tweeted out today that he was upset and taking action because the previous owner of his home cast a ballot during the presidential election.
“The woman I bought my home from over 2 yrs ago trying to vote from it absentee. I’ve filed official challenge to stop her from casting an apparently illegal vote. Not a glitch, she signed an oath stating she lives here to vote. That’s a false swearing.”

Sterling then tweeted out that “The Fulton Elections Board has acted and stated that my challenge to the qualifications of the woman attempting to vote from the house I purchased from her 2 years ago meets probable cause.”
A Twitter user attempted to challenge him and said, “It’s only 2 years this could be an honest mistake would hate someone’s life ruined because of it maybe you should have contacted her first.”
Sterling responded, “It’s over 2 years. over 2 full election cycles. She illegally voted in races here…she signed a sworn oath saying she lived in my home. I followed the process available to me under the law…I challenged her ability to cast a legal vote.”

Sterling also retweeted a local reporter who had tagged him and said, “They just voted 4-1 to accept the challenge of a voter from Sec of State manager Gabriel Sterling. He says the former resident of his own home just tried to vote absentee from there years later.”
“Who was the one who thinks this didn’t meet probable cause. I mean that’s ridiculous,” Sterling wondered in a response to the reporter.
