Portland Commissioner Demands Control of Police if Mayor Won’t Stop ‘45’s Goon’s Violence Against Peaceful Protesters’

There seems to be a huge disconnect between what is actually happening around the country in recent months regarding civil unrest dating back to the police-involved killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The large majority of Americans don’t think police should use excessive force, and more importantly, the law should be applied equally across the board to all people and all races of people.

That’s where things start to diverge and many on the left, including but not limited to Hollywood actors, musicians, most large corporations, and politicians are supporting a movement that started with arguably (by some) good intentions but is getting out of control.

In fact, things are getting so out of control, Democrats have evidently begun to fear if taking the side of law and order will cost them elections, and they have therefore decided to stand with rioters and looters many times over law and order.

They don’t always do this by directly saying they support violence, but rather it’s an admission by omission, pandering, and lack of action that shows their intentions and who they side with, in our opinion.

Even the Democrat Mayor of Portland, Oregon, Ted Wheeler apparently isn’t far left enough though. City Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty is demanding that if Wheeler doesn’t crack down on (get this) the police and President Trump’s (45 as she puts it) Goons from pushing back against protesters, that he should hand over control over the police force to her.

It’s to be noted that while some peaceful protesters have been in the Portland crowds as of late, evidence shows that the overall situation is indeed not peaceful and many parts of the city of Portland are being completely destroyed. BizPacReview reported in part on the violence by saying:

Anarchists and radical left revolutionaries have long been entrenched in Portland, Oregon, but they have become especially emboldened in recent days as Democratic officials in the city all but align with them to push out federal agents in the city.

Violent protesters continue to lay siege on the city some eight weeks after the death of George Floyd, and while some in the media still call it a Black Lives Matter protest, the chaos in the streets has little to do with racial justice.

On what marked the 52nd straight night of protests, police declared a riot as radicals set the Portland Police Association building on fire.

Nevertheless, Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty tweeted out a 10 part tweet and a picture of a letter. She also tweeted out the entire letter to Mayor Wheeler, and if you watch the video clip below the original tweet we have embedded, it makes for easier reading of the entire thing:

Troy Hannemann on Facebook posted nearly 100 images of destruction by rioters and looters in Portland Oregon, at least partially debunking the peaceful narrative.

Media Right News has not independently verified every single photo in the embedded post is from recent Portland chaos below but the shocking images mostly speak for themselves, some even having markings such as a photo of a Police Department in Portland, Oregon, which has a shattered glass window at the front of it. These photos are tragic, scary, and not for the faint of the heart. See post:

Below are two recent videos, one of the radically left-wing city commissioner and another of Mayor Wheeler, also left, but not left enough apparently, doing damage control, or his version of it, by saying the federal agents arresting criminals in his city are not welcome.

He also claims they are causing even more chaos as the Democrats try to blame President Trump’s attempt at quelling unrest for creating more of it. It’s unclear just how far things in Portland will spiral out of control.

This comes just weeks after nearby Seattle, Washington finally decided to disband part of their city taken over by anarchists after their own Mayor’s house was marched on, and the mayor of nearby Olympia was vandalized. See videos below:
