Jerry Nadler Cracks, Says Trump Impeachment 2.0 a ‘Waste of Time’

Jerry Nadler is finally giving up. Although President Trump is having other struggles such as trying to maintain law and order and run a presidential campaign during riots and a pandemic, it appears the Democrats are out of air.

At least when it comes to their impeachment efforts. Jerry Nadler has gone on record stating that he will not be supporting efforts of another impeachment of President Trump, citing that it’s too close to the election anyway.

This should calm fears by the president that if he is too hard on rioters and looters by using the U.S. Military to stop them he may get impeached, but it is unclear what his next move is to quell the civil unrest and perpetual vandalism that was kicked off with the police-involved death of George Floyd a few weeks ago in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Nadler spoke to CNN and addressed the impeachment issue as it’s directly related to John Bolton’s new hit piece book that is full of criticisms about President Trump. The Washington Times reported on the situation:

“I believe the president has done a number of impeachable things, including what Mr. Bolton is talking about,” Mr. Nadler said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “That would at this point be a waste of time.”

Mr. Trump was impeached for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress in the House, but acquitted of all charges in the Senate — both on stark party-line votes.

The latest leaks from the book include allegations President Trump pushed the importance of agricultural trade on his reelection campaign to Chinese President Xi and praised China’s plan to build “concentration camps.”

It is unclear if this is the direction that House Rep Adam Schiff (D-CA) will agree with taking along with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) but most likely they traded notes beforehand and the new Bolton book is going to be another nothing burger. The Washington Times has also reported that Nalder has dismissed attempts to impeach Attorney General William Barr as well.

Meanwhile, former Vice President Joe Biden and presidential nominee for the Democrat party continues his strategy of laying low for the most part. It seems that the Democrats are more concerned these days with the anti-Trump vote than they are the pro-Biden vote, but the proof will be in the pudding this November.
