This morning NASCAR driver ‘Bubba’ Wallace was one of the guests on The View. Earlier in June, Wallace successfully pushed NASCAR to ban the Confederate flag from all races and events. Wallace shot into the spotlight earlier this week claiming that a noose was found in his garage stall at the Talladega raceway by a member of the Richard Petty Motorsports team. Wallace called those who didn’t believe him claiming that it was staged “simple-minded”, “using everything in their power to defend what they stand up for… instead of trying to listen and understand what’s going on.”

After the interview with The View, the results from the investigation that was held Monday released. The 15 agents who were sent to investigate the suspected ‘hate crime’ came to find out that the knotted rope in question was from the garage door pull rope which is tied in a loop knot. In a statement from NASCAR, they address the FBI’s findings. Political commentator Mark Dice had released a video on Facebook pointing to the garage door pull rope.
I told you it was another hoax. The hysteria needs to stop.

Many Republicans were quick to jump behind Wallace with the hashtags #IStandWithBubba #WeStandWithBubba including Governor of Wisconson Scott Walker and former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley. This was before any investigation had been completed.
This is why I love America. ??#IStandWithBubba https://t.co/hELk7t9E8g

We should all stand with @BubbaWallace today against the cowards who secretly put the noose in his garage stall. Watch your back cowards. Bubba has a bigger army than you do. #HateWontWin #WeStandWithBubba

Co-founder of the Daily Wire, Matt Walsh tweeted a response to the FBI findings “Lol NASCAR drivers escorted Bubba around the track and heroically showed their solidarity with him as he openly wept over a pull down cord in a garage. My God. It’s full on Idiocracy.”

For almost a month the world has been turned upside down with protests, some of which have become violent, statue removals of historic figures deemed racist by BLM, and the sudden creation of CHOP/CHAZ within Seattle, WA, all of this while the world is combating an invisible enemy, the COVID pandemic. It all seems surreal, however, it is actually the reality we face today.
