Just when you think 2020 couldn’t get crazier, Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler has gone and pulled another head-scratcher. In the same tweet thread, as he is proclaiming a temporary ban on ‘CS gas’ (an apparent tear gas alternative) to stop violent rioters, he then goes and simply ‘asks’ them to stop instead.
“Effective immediately, I am directing the Portland Police Bureau to end the use of CS gas for crowd control until further notice. We need something different. We need it now.”…
…”I call on everyone to step up and tamp down the violence. I’m acting. It’s time for others to join me.” See tweets below:

Well, it looks like since using some force trying to stop violent rioters, looters and arsonists, instead of toughening up after being forced out of his home he is trying the ‘ask nicely’ approach. The type of people he is trying to appease use handles like “All Cops Are War Criminals” as you can see in the tweet response below. The Twitter user blames him for a ‘three-month delay’ on banning the gas apparently. Will it actually help though? Time will tell.

Immediately; today!
I just request that you ignore
The three-month-long delay."
This is just a few weeks after the Portland Mayor denounced violence but then appeared to try and blame it all on President Trump as we previously reported. This was after an Antifa member murdered a Trump supporter. Watch the video of the recent riots at Wheeler’s condo:
It remains to be seen how long Mayor Wheeler holds his job as he continues to fail his city. The scary thing is that the person running to take his seat is an actual Antifa member. Imagine that. Fox News reported:
