Republicans are celebrating after what appears to be another seat flip in the House of Representatives. After the latest ballot drop, Burgess Owens now boasts a 2,095 vote lead in Utah over incumbent Ben McAdams.
We reported yesterday that the lead was 1,697 votes. The Salt Lake City Tribune reported that the lead looked to be insurmountable, based on indications that only a few thousand outstanding ballots remained to be counted in the contest.
Conservative activist Dinesh D’Souza referenced Owens’ Super Bowl Champion NFL career and said, “Congratulations Burgess Owens. You did it! Now just make sure you and the new GOP gives Pelosi and her comrades hell. The call for every play is the same: Sack the quarterback!”

Former House Candidate in Baltimore Kim Klacik, who came up short in her race but made an impact, shared a picture with him while flashing his ring also.
“Congratulations Burgess Owens. You deserved to win & so much more. We love you. You will make the difference we need in this country. Thank you in advance,” Klacik said.
