Ever since the shocking news that certain Trump rally goers went inside the U.S. Capitol last week, resulting in chaos and some people losing their lives, things have been changing. Twitter and Facebook have suspended Donald Trump and the Democrats have gone full force after President Trump.
They are also going after those who supported objecting to Joe Biden’s certification, by seeking to politically tarnish some in the U.S. House and Senate. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and new Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) have been pushing to impeach Trump if Vice President Pence doesn’t support removal via the 25th amendment.
It appears the impeachment route is the one that is happening. Some have speculated that although President’s Trump’s remaining time is short, the Democrats don’t want him to ever run again for president, which is in party, why they want to impeach him.
They also claim they don’t want any further civil unrest. Civil unrest is never good and we don’t support violence or lawlessness. The left is often far too quiet though, on left-wing riots that happened over the summer, for the most part. We know those aren’t the same as what happened last week, but we should be condemning violence from any group, no matter what.
Some are concerned that there is a double standard when it comes to condemning horrible behavior.
WPTV reported:
As the House prepares for impeachment, President Donald Trump faces a single charge — “incitement of insurrection” — over the deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol, according to a draft of the articles obtained by The Associated Press.
Speaker Nancy Pelosi says the House will proceed with legislation to impeach Trump as she pushes the vice president to invoke constitutional authority to force him out.
This will be the second time the Democrats have tried to impeach the president. Stay tuned as we do our best to update you on this situation.
