Biden Tells Rally Attendees They Will ‘Get Donald Trump’ if They Don’t Keep Gavin Newsom As Their Governor

President Joe Biden appeared at a rally last night for California Governor Gavin Newsom and told attendees that they will “Get Donald Trump” if they don’t keep Newsom.

“”I’m going to make this as simple as I can. You either keep Gavin Newsom as your governor *cough* or you’ll get Donald Trump. It’s not a joke,” Biden asserted.

Many who watched a video clip of the statement tweeted by Breaking911 were confused by this statement, as the former president is not on the ballot to become the next governor of California.

VA GOP Congressional candidate Jarome Bell quote tweeted the video and said, “WTF so is Trump running for Governor of CA now? I thought it was @larryelder

According to The Washington Examiner, earlier on at the rally, Biden had described GOP candidate Larry Elder as “The clone of Donald Trump.”

“Can you imagine him being the governor of the state? You can’t let that happen. There’s too much at stake,” Biden added.

Biden reportedly closed by claiming that voting to keep Newsom would “make sure Donald Trump’s dark, destructive, divisive politics never finds a place in California.”

Others responded to the clip of Biden with bewilderment including Trump supporter “Konnor88” who stated that he “Didn’t know Donald Trump was on the ballot. Last time I checked Trump wasn’t a resident of California either.”

Twitter user David Molesevich declared in a response, “If I lived in California that would make me want to recall Newsome even more now.”

2A supporter “JT” suggested, “We need a fact check, I don’t believe Donald Trump is running for Governor of California.”
