The tweet closes with Gaetz calling for Schiff to be held accountable.

“BREAKING: Today I filed an ethics complaint against @RepAdamSchiff for:

The transcript of the phone call between President Donald Trump and the President of Ukraine was available before the hearing the intelligence committee held after the whistleblower complaint was made public. Chairman Schiff in his opening statement made a distorted parody of the
phone call in his opening statement of this hearing. This hearing was aired to the public and everyone in America was able to hear it. U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs (R) had brought a motion to condemn and censure Adam Schiff for his parody.

This motion was tabled by Democrats, however, every Republican member of the house voted in favor of the motion.

During the investigation into ‘Russian collusion” Schiff constantly made claims that there was lots of evidence of President Trump colluding with the Russians. In one press interview, Schiff states there was “Ample evidence of collusion in plain sight”. However, No collusion was found. Since the Muller investigation, Schiff is now heading the closed-door impeachment inquiry.

Only members of the three committees involved in the impeachment inquiry are able to sit in on the hearings. Matt Gaetz went to sit in on one of the hearings and was ejected as he does not have a seat on one of the committees. At a later date, many Republican members stormed into one of the closed-door inquiry hearings. These among many other moves have seemed to push Nancy Pelosi to bring the impeachment inquiry to a house vote.
