Musk: Jordan Peterson, Kathy Griffin, Babylon Bee Reinstated to Twitter, No Final Decision on Donald Trump yet

Some suspended accounts are being reinstated on Twitter, as Elon Musk just shared the news by tweeting:

“New Twitter policy is freedom of speech, but not freedom of reach. Negative/hate tweets will be max deboosted & demonetized, so no ads or other revenue to Twitter. You won’t find the tweet unless you specifically seek it out, which is no different from rest of Internet.”

He then added:

“Kathie Griffin, Jorden Peterson & Babylon Bee have been reinstated. Trump decision has not yet been made.”

Musk clarified, “Note, this applies just to the individual tweet, not the whole account”.

A little less than a month after taking over Twitter, Musk has reinstated some high-profile accounts banned over “wrong think,” sharing a belief/fact that offended others.

While the decision has yet to be made in the case of former President Donald Trump’s account, this is a big move on Musk’s part holding to his word that he wanted a free speech town hall. It appears they are still working to decide if they will allow Trump back on.
