Tim Allen Takes More Flak From Twitter Lefties Over Joke saying Merry Christmas ‘Has Become Problematic’ in New Santa Clause Series

Film critic Scott Weinberg took issue with a line Tim Allen said in the New Santa Clause series on Disney+.

Weinberg shared on Twitter:

“saying ‘Merry Christmas to all’ has suddenly become problematic!” — actual dialogue from the new Disney+ Santa Clause series starring Tim Allen”

With this many leftist Twitter users jumped on attacking Allen for this.

@WilMcmillen tweeted, “Santa had the red hat all along and we just ignored it.”

This a reference to the Red Make America Great Again hats worn by Trump supporters.

Many more ranted over the perceived war on Christmas, also going after Allen for both “Tool Time” and “Last Man Standing”.

The theme of the “Santa Clause” movies as well as the new series has been solving problems that jeopardize Christmas.

In the series, Allen plays Scott Calvin, who dons the red suit after Santa falls off his roof and disappears. The film addresses those who “don’t believe in Santa” or the spirit of Christmas.

The other two films also addressed other problems that jeopardized Christmas and it seems the New Series follows suit.

Some of the responses claimed that it is a made-up problem that no one takes offense to.

@s_keilan shared, “Number of people I’ve seen take offence to “Merry Christmas”: 0 Number of conservatives I’ve seen take offence to the idea they made up that people take offence to “Merry Christmas”: So freaking many.”

@prime159 added, “Nothing will ever scare conservatives as hard as made-up problems”

From the rants on Twitter, many feel the need to grinch it up.

  1. Won’t be watching anything Disney created over the past couple of years. Too loaded with woke crap.

    1. You are right! Disney would be turning over in his grave!
