The Georgia state senate passed a bill to create a statue honoring Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. The vote came in 32 to 20 along party lines. That statue would sit on the grounds of the state capitol building in Atlanta.
Georgia State Senator Ben Watson said, “This native son of Georgia deserves a place of honor and recognition on our Capitol grounds, a place where future generations of Georgians can learn valuable lessons from his legacy and gain inspiration and belief that their lofty dreams are obtainable too in America, regardless of the circumstances into which they are born.”
The bill will now head to the Georgia House floor.

Democrats were not in favor of honoring Justice Thomas who is from Pin Point, Georgia. He has long been a target of the democrat party, including our now president Joe Biden who was in charge of the Senate hearing on Thomas’s confirmation to the Supreme Court.
During the hearing, it appeared that Biden smeared Clarance Thomas on rumors and false allegations from Anita Hill.
Georgia State Senator Emanuel Jones took the opportunity to trash Thomas in true democrat fashion. Joes called Thomas an “Uncle Tom”, and “a person betraying his own community” and went on to clarify exactly what he meant, like someone who “sold his soul to the slave master.”
Democrats seem to take personal offense to Clarence Thomas as he doesn’t fit their “stereotype”. He has served on the Supreme Court for over 30 years.
Thomas came from humble beginnings as he was raised in a Gullah community close to Savannah. He was raised devout Catholic. Eventually Thomas attended yale and was eventually nominated to the Supreme Court by George H.W. Bush in 1990.
This type of attack has plagued Thomas since he was nominated to the Supreme Court and seems to be ramped up in light of the overturning of Roe vs Wade.

This dope doesn’t know whether “Uncle Tom” was a fictional character, or not!!!? I learned about Harriet Beecher Stowes’ famous novel when I was in elementary school!! The book played a role in turning public opinion against slavery. This Georgia state senator should be ejected from the legislature on grounds of stupidity.
