ABC Reporter Links TN Law Banning Child Transitioning to Christian Church Shooting

ABC’s Terry Moran relayed the news that John Drake, the Police Chief in Nashville shared at the press conference, which confirmed the TN mass shooter as Audrey Hale, a transgender individual.

Moran then linked the news of the identity of the shooter to legislation recently signed into law in Tennessee which bans transgender medical care for minors.

Jorge Bonilla shared the video of Moran’s report he also added:

“IT BEGINS: ABC’s Terry Moran ties the Nashville school shooting to Tennessee’s recently-passed legislation banning the hormonization and mutilation of minors. The shooter was 28.”

“Easy call. On the one hand, you get to bash the legislation. On the other, you get to run a standard male white shooter news cycle”

On Thursday night’s Tucker Carlson, Carlson shared he believed overhyped rhetoric from NPR was to encourage the trans community to arm themselves.

In a piece written by LGBTQ Nation reads:

As “proof,” Carlson pointed to a recent NPR segment about Rainbow Reload, an LGBTQ+ gun club based in New Hampshire. The segment mentioned how “mass shootings targeting LGBTQ spaces and a rise in anti-trans rhetoric have inspired some queer people to take up arms.”

Carlson considers this hypocritical because he believes NPR is solidly anti-gun.

“This is the same NPR that … routinely run[s] segments calling for more gun control … Here’s that same National Public Radio — state radio, state media controlled by the Biden administration — encouraging people to go to the gun store immediately, but not all people, just trans people. Guns are bad except in the hands of trans people. Wow,” Carlson said in the Thursday night installment of his show...

“What’s going on here is that NPR has decided that guns are bad, except when the enforcers of its ideology have guns. You can’t have guns, but faithful servants of the Democratic Party can,” Carlson said. His proof of the Democrats’ anti-gun stance included clips of President Joe Biden (D) encouraging a ban on assault weapons to stop mass shootings.

“The trans community, of course, is a vehicle for something else and it’s always the same thing, which is political power and political power made possible by political violence,” Carlson said. “They want to be able to commit it and they want you defenseless so you can’t fight back.”

The article went on to claim that banning gender-affirming care is genocide against trans youth.

As the police work on theories, while they go through the writings and manifesto of the shooter, we will see how the mainstream media portrays the shooting and the shooter.

Many may see media reports linking Republican laws to shootings such as today’s as abhorrent and almost sympathetic to the violence, although the reporting outlets would surely deny that. However, the rhetoric is in our view distasteful and extremely biased for mainstream outlets at best.
