Adam Kinzinger Claims Marjorie Taylor Greene is ‘Not a Republican’ and Calls Her a ‘RINO’

Last night, House Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) attempted to turn the tables on House Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who has been a staunch supporter of former President Trump.

Kinzinger quote tweeted a tweet by Andrew Kaczynski, who runs CNN’s KFile, that shared an article that had dug up past social media posts and interactions made by the freshman Congresswoman.

“Marjorie Taylor Greene indicated support for executing prominent Democrats in Facebook comments, videos, and likes in 2018 and 2019,” the tweet explained.

Kinzinger then went after Greene by claiming that “She is not a Republican. There are many who claim the title of Republican and have nothing in common with our core values. They are RINOS. She is a RINO.”

The responses to Kinzinger’s tweet was flooded with replies from liberals and liberal accounts like Meidas Touch, Palmer Report, Brian Tyler Cohen, and Montel Williams.

In a conference call this morning, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy told members of his caucus to “cut that crap out” and asked for “no more attacks to one another,” including on Twitter.

Greene said in statement regarding the report about her social media history that “Fake News CNN is writing yet another hit piece on me” and didn’t specifically apologize for the posts.

California congressman Jimmy Gomez moved today to try to expel Greene from Congress. However, it requires a two-thirds vote to be approved.

2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton weighed in today in a tweet where she said that she believes Greene “should be on a watch list. Not in Congress.”
