Following Attorney General Merrick Garland’s testimony yesterday in front of the Senate Judiciary committee, GOP Florida State Rep Anthony Sabatini voiced his opinion on how what he believes should happen next.
In a tweet, Sabatini, who is running for the U.S. House of Representatives in 2022, demanded that Garland Resign or be impeached by Congress, adding “no exception.”
“Merrick Garland must resign immediately or be impeached by Congress—no exception,” Sabatini tweeted.

Sabatini has received a slate of endorsements already for his Congressional race, which includes GOP Arizona State Sen Wendy Rogers, as we previously reported.
In a recent tweet, he listed off his endorsements, calling them the “MOST BASED” ever and asked people to support his “America First” campaign.
Sabatini has been endorsed by, “Senator Rand Paul. Rep. Matt Gaetz, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Rep. Madison Cawthorn, Rep. Paul Gosar, General Michael Flynn, Senator Wendy Rogers, Roger Stone.”
Proud to have the MOST BASED set of endorsements ever:

Unfortunately, it would take Democrats getting on board in order for Garland to be removed from his post and currently, that has not happened.
In a MSNBC op-ed from the producer of the Rachel Maddow Show, Steve Benen, he suggested that it is all GOP’s hysterics and a silly, made-up controversy.
It is clear that most Democrats likely feel the same way and there hasn’t been a single elected official to side with the Republicans as of yet and they defended him at the hearing.
