Democrat Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has said that she, who is fully vaccinated, will continue to wear a mask even after the new CDC guidelines have been put into place.
The CDC’s new guidelines say that a fully vaccinated person like AOC doesn’t need to wear a mask in most places, after months of these restrictions.
“BREAKING: AOC says she will keep masking despite being fully vaccinated.”

You can see her post in her Instagram story in which she said she will continue to wear a mask after being fully vaccinated for months.
This comes as Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has said she will not be lifting the mask requirement in the Capitol despite new CDC guidelines citing that not all Republicans are yet vaccinated.
While all Democrats in Congress are, a large number of Republicans in Congress have yet to take the vaccine.
The Democrats have praised and followed the CDC for months with their controversial restrictions, now some seem to be disagreeing with the CDC as they have ended their mask recommendation for fully vaccinated people in most cases.
Of course, the apparent hypocrisy is seen with AOC as she will still be wearing her mask which is contrary to what the CDC just released Thursday. Although vaccinated people can still wear masks if they please, she will continue to do so even after the CDC changed its recommendation.
