Special counsel Durham blasts FBI's Trump-Russia investigation https://t.co/850CieC6Cu
Durham’s report concluded that the basis for the FBI launching an investigation into Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign’s ties to Russia was “seriously flawed”.
Durham wrote, “neither U.S. law enforcement nor the Intelligence Community appears to have possessed any actual evidence of collusion” between the Trump campaign and Russia at the start of the inquiry.
Durham pointed to potential “bias” into continuing to investigate Trump, as officials “ignored or simply assessed way” evidence that was inconsistent with the narrative that the Trump campaign was colluding with Russia.
Donald Trump has been saying since the beginning of the investigation that “Russia collusion” was just a “witch hunt”.
The FBI said in a statement addressing the Durham report that leadership has “already implemented dozens of corrective actions, which have now been in place for some time.”
It doesn’t appear that Trump will be getting any apology. House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan announced on Twitter, “We’ve reached out to the Justice Department to have Special Counsel John Durham testify next week.”

We will have to wait and see what comes of that.
