AZ GOP Gov. Doug Ducey Refuses Trump Decertification Demand, Insists ‘The Outcome Stands and the 2020 Election in Arizona is Over’

Despite multiple discrepancies being found in the forensic audit results that were released yesterday, Arizona GOP Gov. Doug Ducey released a multiple part tweet downplaying the results.

Ducey insisted, “The outcome stands and the 2020 election in Arizona is over.”

“There will be no decertification of the 2020 election —  the audit does not call for one, and even if it had, there is no lawful way to decertify,” Ducey added.

That runs counter to a demand made last night from former President Donald Trump for Arizona to “immediately decertify their 2020 Presidential Election Results.”

Independent journalist Ivory Hecker tweeted, “Fox News was silent on the audit today, aside from a 15 second blurb by Bret Baier telling his viewers he was right. Fox focused on gossip about Border Patrol on horseback, Chris Cuomo’s flirtatious ways, the ladies of The View being a mess, and Biden’s love of boosters.”

It certainly appeared that it was a purposeful shot at those who have questioned the results of the election to have Bret Baier deliver the report.

Baier said that “according to reports on the ground” that the audit confirmed that President Joe Biden’s win in Maricopa county and Arizona was “in fact a win.”

Arizona GOP State Sen Wendy Rogers is undeterred, however, and tweeted earlier, “We are just getting started with audits. All eyes on Texas, Pennsylvania, and Pima County Arizona.”
