Bad News For Biden as Poll Shows 62 Percent of Voters Believe Putin Wouldn’t Have Invaded Ukraine if Trump Was Still in Charge

A new poll released yesterday spelled doom for Joe Biden as 62 percent of voters believe Vladimir Putin wouldn’t have invaded Ukraine if Donald Trump was still the president.

The Harvard Center for American Political Studies (CAPS)-Harris Poll, reported on by The Hill, found that 85 percent of Republicans and 38 percent of Democrats felt that was the case.

The poll also noted that 38 percent of all Americans polled believed that Putin would have invaded Ukraine regardless.

Many Democrats have been insisting that the invasion is Trump’s fault, despite the fact that he is no longer in office.

Actor Kevin Sorbo sarcastically chided those who felt that way in a tweet where he said, “So, Putin owned Trump for 4 years but only decided to invade Ukraine once Biden was elected? Makes sense.”

Conservative podcaster Michael Savage agreed with the poll and told Newsmax earlier, “I’m not justifying Putin’s invasion at all, I want to be very clear about that. He’s a tyrant and he’s a dictator.”

“However, had Trump been President, I don’t believe this would have happened,” Savage declared.

In a CPAC speech tonight, Trump also told the crowd the same thing and insisted, “If I was the president it wouldn’t have happened.”

“I stand as the only president of the 21st century on whose watch Russia did not invade another country,” Trump noted.
