Bed Bath & Beyond Goes Bankrupt Two Years After Pulling Mike Lindell’s MyPillow Products From Its Shelves

It was reported yesterday that Bed Bath & Beyond filed for bankruptcy two years after pulling Mike Lindell’s MyPillow products from its shelves.

The company announced that it would be eventually closing all 360 of its stores across North America with sales beginning Wednesday.

While seeking buyers for the company’s assets, the stores will continue to serve customers, however.

Newsweek, however, claimed that the company had seen declining fortunes in recent years, as it battled to retain a share of a retail market that has become dominated by home delivery.

Conservative social media strategist Chuck Callesto celebrated the news in a tweet as he declared, “REMEMBER WHEN THEY CANCELED MIKE LINDELL? Funny how things ‘CIRCLE BACK’..”

Students for Trump executive director Ryan Fournier suggested in another tweet, “Maybe if they didn’t cancel Mike Lindell, they’d still be in business.”

In January 2021, Lindell announced that the company, along with others including Kohl’s, had dropped his products.

“I just got off the phone with Bed Bath & Beyond. They’re dropping MyPillow,” Lindell said during an interview with the Right Side Broadcasting Network.

Lindell explained, “Just got off the phone — not five minutes ago. Kohl’s, all these different places. … These guys don’t understand. They’re scared. Like a Bed Bath & Beyond, they’re scared. They were good partners. In fact, I told them, ‘You guys come back anytime you want.’”

As we reported at the time, Lindell told the Associated Press that he believes, “They’re succumbing to the pressure from these attacks, I’m one of their best-selling products ever. They’re going to lose out. It’s their loss if they want to succumb to the pressure.”
