Bevelyn Beatty held a #JesusMatters rally with other supporters yesterday in Chicago. She titled it #LetsTakeTheDevilDown and one clip of the protest showed they were in front of an abortion clinic.
Last night they went to Chicago Mayor’s Lori Lightfoot’s house to protest and Beatty and others in her group were placed under arrest by the police for protesting in a residential area.
Today she went live on Facebook and said that she was “out of jail” and “praise the lord.” She encouraged people to go out and protest as well so that they “don’t get left behind” by Jesus. She said people have to be radical so the left doesn’t take over the country.
One of Beatty’s supporters riding with her said that when they got to the precinct, one of the police officers said, “On behalf of the Chicago Police Department, we want to thank you.”
Lightfoot is getting it from all sides as recently, “a Chicago Black Lives Matter ‘activist’ addressed the media, blasting Mayor Lori Lightfoot and threatening city officials to ‘listen to us or you can get ran over.'”
