Biden Changes Mind on #MeToo, Says Women Should No Longer Be ‘Believed’, Now ‘Should Be Heard and Investigated’

Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe this morning to address the allegation that he assaulted Tara Reade in 1993. He denied the claim by saying, “unequivocally, it never, never happened.”

Interviewer Mika Brzezinski referenced Dr. Ford and how Biden had said that women should be believed. He denied that he said that and tried to clarify his remarks from before. Video was unearthed though where he simply said, “women should be believed.”

Biden said now that “the facts are different.” He claims that “any woman should come forward and they should be heard and then it should be investigated, it should be investigated, and if there’s anything that is consistent with what’s being said and she makes the case or the case is made, then she should be believed.”

Mika Brzeinski calls out Joe Biden for hypocrisy on Brett Kavanaugh allegations.

Biden continued in the interview, “The truth matters. I fought my entire life to change the whole notion of the law around sexual assault. I believe we’ve come a long way and have a long way to go before we are in fact in a position to where we have a fair and unbiased view.”
