MSNBC Contributor Breathes “Sigh of Relief” After “Unequivocal Denial” from Joe Biden

Earlier this morning the “conservative opinion writer” at the Washington Post and MSNBC Contributor (according to her Twitter feed) Jennifer Rubin, had a quick response to presidential candidate Joe Biden’s much anticipated “Morning Joe appearance” this morning.

Rubin, by a quick check of her pro-Biden, anti-Trump Twitter feed, doesn’t appear to be very conservative at all, and like many (but not all) prominent liberal-leaning women, is all in for supporting Biden’s denial of sexual harassment claims by Tara Reade at all costs. Earlier this morning, we reported on part of the interview where Biden appears to think that the rules should now change, just for him:

Biden said now that “the facts are different.” He claims that “any woman should come forward and they should be heard and then it should be investigated, it should be investigated, and if there’s anything that is consistent with what’s being said and she makes the case or the case is made, then she should be believed.”

Breitbart also pointed out that Joe deflected by even pointing to President Trump’s tax returns and that records from his time in the Senate should be kept confidential. Towards the beginning of the interview when Mika Brzezinski asked Biden if he remembered Reade or any complaints from her, he appeared to elude answering whether or not he actually remembered her, only claiming that he never remembered any complaints. Despite all this the Twitter icon Jennifer Rubin we are referencing tweeted out with sheer joy and confidence:

I don’t know what more the Biden camp could have hoped for. A long eloquent statement the press will be obliged to quote. Unequivocal denial and earnest appearance in tough interview. Everyone breaths a sigh of relief but it is easy when your guy is innocent

Many on the right and who are supporters of President Trump and Brett Kavanaugh may see this as laughable. So really? That’s all it takes is a bumbling denial on MSNBC and this is all supposed to easily go away? Is that how the Democrats in Congress treated Judge Brett Kavanaugh throughout the nominating process when they threw everything but the kitchen sink at him? Check out the interview below and decide for yourself:
