Earlier, we reported on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that she doesn’t believe that Democratic Presidential Nominee Joe Biden should debate President Trump.
Former White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders blasted the suggestion, saying, “Pelosi wants no debates because like all Americans she knows Biden can’t handle President Trump.”

When asked by MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell whether he would consider not debating Trump following Pelosi’s comments, Biden overruled her, saying, “No. As long as the commission continues down the straight now as they have, I’m going to debate him.”
Biden continued, “I am going to be the fact-checker on the stage while I’m debating him.”
The former vice president, who has already agreed in writing to three presidential debates with Trump, said that he had received other recommendations that he shouldn’t debate Trump without a fact-checker present, but he shrugged them off.
Biden claimed, “look, I think everybody knows that this man has a somewhat pathological tendency not to tell the truth.”
Biden added that he believes the Republican National Convention this week has been characterized by “one lie after another,” citing fact checks being done by the mainstream media during this week’s convention.
