Bill Barr Doesn’t Mince Words, Says the U.S. is Safer After Law Enforcement Killed Antifa Member

President Trump’s Attorney General Bill Barr did not mince words in a statement put out by the US DOJ yesterday. After Antifa member Michael Forest Reinoehl allegedly shot and killed Trump supporter Jay Bishop, AKA Aaron Danielson, many were speculating as to why Michael Reinoehl had not been immediately arrested, even President Trump.

But a manhunt was underway by U.S. Marshals and other law enforcement. They eventually found him in a suburb outside of Seattle, Washington where there was a resistance from Reinoehl that ultimately led to his being shot and killed by law enforcement.

Bill Barr made a bold statement despite the fact that many left-wing protesters are lamenting the death of Michael Reinoehl. Barr says the streets are safer without him an makes no apologies for the way he evidently had to be taken out. Read the statement from Barr:

Attorney General William P. Barr has issued the following statement:

“Last Saturday, Aaron “Jay” Danielson was shot and killed amid the continuing violence in Portland.  Local authorities subsequently obtained an arrest warrant for Michael Forest Reinoehl, a self-described Antifa member suspected of the alleged murder.  Reinoehl fled to Washington State, where he was located yesterday by members of a fugitive task force led by the U.S. Marshals Service, the FBI, and state and local law enforcement partners.  When Reinoehl attempted to escape arrest and produced a firearm, he was shot and killed by law enforcement officers.

The tracking down of Reinoehl — a dangerous fugitive, admitted Antifa member, and suspected murderer — is a significant accomplishment in the ongoing effort to restore law and order to Portland and other cities.  I applaud the outstanding cooperation among federal, state, and local law enforcement, particularly the fugitive task force team that located Reinoehl and prevented him from escaping justice.  The streets of our cities are safer with this violent agitator removed, and the actions that led to his location are an unmistakable demonstration that the United States will be governed by law, not violent mobs.”

Media Right News originally reported in part:

Michael Forest Reinoehl, who was the suspected shooter of Jay Bishop, AKA Aaron Danielson was apparently shot dead just outside of Seattle, Washington tonight. It was reported that authorities were moving in to arrest him when the incident occurred.

Right around the time the first news reports were coming out, President Trump was tweeting asking why he hadn’t been arrested yet after Vice did an exclusive video interview with the man earlier.

In the Vice interview, the man had claimed the Trump supporter was going to allegedly kill a black man had he not killed him first. “I could have sat there and watched them kill a friend of mine of color. But I wasn’t going to do that,” he said.
