On his HBO show last night “Real Time”, Bill Maher sent his left-wing guests reeling by calling the Hunter Biden laptop coverup a “conspiracy” to defeat the 45th President Donald Trump.
Maher’s comments came after Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg told Joe Rogan earlier this week that the FBI warned Facebook to be on the lookout for potentially polarizing content.
Zuckerberg said that the social media company ultimately limited stories about the Hunter Biden laptop after the warning.
The fact that Maher was willing to discuss such a topic with Reiner and Klobuchar was shocking and when Reiner attempted to use subterfuge, he refused to back down.
Reiner told Maher, “What’s not justified, using armed violence to try to kill people in the Capitol.”
“Hunter Biden’s laptop was buried by the press, even the head of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, said that was a mistake. They buried the story,” Maher explained.
Maher continued, “Sam Harris says it was appropriate for Twitter and the heads of big tech and the heads of journalistic organizations to feel that they were in the presence of something that is a once-in-a-lifetime moral emergency, meaning Trump. So, he’s saying it’s okay to have a conspiracy to get rid of somebody as bad as Trump.”
“They buried the Hunter Biden story before the election because they were like, we can’t risk having the election thrown to Trump, we’ll tell them after the election,” Maher added.
Commentator David Reaboi shared a clip of Maher and said, “This Bill Maher clip with Rob Reiner and Amy Klobuchar is instructive—replace the Hunter Biden laptop story with putting people in camps or anything horrible the government would do to the Right, and here’s approximate the response you’d get.”
