Newly sworn-in President Biden signed a series of executive orders today, rolling back efforts made by the Trump administration to impose the will of his supporters.
As reported by CBS News, several executive actions directly target and undo former President Trump’s actions on the environment, immigration, the U.S. census, and regulatory changes.
In the presence of reporters, Biden signed three executive orders with one implementing a mask mandate on federal property, another increasing support for underserved communities and the third rejoining the Paris climate accord.
Biden said of the executive orders, “I thought there’s no time to wait. Get to work immediately.”
Congressman Bob Good (R-VA) was not pleased to hear the news about the executive orders and expressed his disdain in a tweet.
Referencing orders that stopped production on the southern border wall and the Keystone XL pipeline, Good said, “On day one, President Biden issues executive orders that will open our borders, drive up our energy prices, [and] destroy American jobs.
“These actions diminish the freedoms, prosperity, safety, and security of all Americans,” he added.

➡️ Open our borders
➡️ Drive up our energy prices
➡️ Destroy American jobs
These actions diminish the freedoms, prosperity, safety, and security of all Americans.
Earlier, Good issued a statement where he vowed to “work with President Joe Biden and my fellow members of Congress to try to find common ground on behalf of the American people, while always maintaining the conservative principles I was elected to uphold.”
Good added, however that he was “deeply concerned about the policy objectives already expressed by the Biden-Harris Administration and their Democrat allies in Congress.”
He then foreshadowed the executive orders that were later signed.
