Bob Saget Autopsy Reveals ‘Significant’ Head Injury Consistent With Being ‘Hit With a Baseball Bat’

The death of comedian Bob Saget has unfortunately been mired with controversy as many are wondering exactly how it is that he met his untimely fate.

The latest revelations from his autopsy are certain to do nothing to stop the speculation surrounding what may have occurred.

Dr. Gavin Britz, the chair in neurosurgery at Houston Methodist Hospital, recently said of Saget’s injuries, “This is something I find with someone with a baseball bat to the head, or who has fallen from 20 or 30 feet.”

“This is significant trauma,” Britz explained, noting that Saget’s fractures were not only widespread but in particularly thick parts of his skull.

Many on Twitter believe that Saget could have perhaps fallen due to the fact that he had recently received a COVID-19 booster, but still tested positive for the virus at his time of death according to his autopsy report.

The autopsy report released Thursday by Orange County medical examiner, Dr. Joshua Stephany stated that Saget’s cause of death was attributed to him falling backward and striking the back of his head.

Saget’s death was ruled an accident with no suspected foul play Stephany’s report noted.

Journalist Byron York said of the report, “This is really odd. Makes you wonder about the thoroughness of the original investigation of the scene.”

Even CNN chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta appeared skeptical of what it is that exactly happened to Saget.

“I think what it reveals more than anything else is this was not a simple bump on the head,” Gupta said on Friday’s “New Day.”

Gupta stressed, “When you read this autopsy report that may still be the case, but it was a pretty significant blow to the head.”

A graphic appeared on the screen that showed all of the bones that were fractured and then Gupta described the injuries on an actual skull that he used to show the extent of the damage.

Gupta then insisted, “That takes a lot of force to do that. If I knew nothing else about what had happened, you’d think this was someone who had fallen down the stairs and had several impacts to the head or been unrestrained in a car accident”

“Whatever happened here, we may never know how he fell or what happened, but it was a significant blow that caused that,” Gupta lamented.

Gupta concluded by pointing out, “And likely, the bleeding on top of the brain is likely causing pressure on the brain and subsequently, sadly, what led to him becoming unconscious and dying.”
