It was reported this morning by Bill Melugin of Fox News that a border patrol agent was killed this morning while chasing illegal immigrants near the southern border in Texas.
“Multiple federal sources [are] telling me this happened in Mission, Texas early this morning just 20 minutes away from where we’re standing right now.”
“I’m told by these sources that a 38-year-old border patrol agent was chasing a group of illegal immigrants in Mission on his ATV and going pretty fast when he crashed into a gate and he lost his life as a result of that crash.”
“I’m told by these sources that the agent was a father of two, that he was a fantastic agent, and that he was a really good guy.”
“This agent lost his life doing his job in some pretty difficult circumstances with this border crisis right now.”
Melugin then gave examples of why it is a border crisis, despite the fact that Democrats don’t seem to want to acknowledge the situation.

The news comes on the heels of an interview that U.S. House Rep Debbie Dingell (D-MI) gave where she doesn’t think that Joe Biden needs to see the southern border for himself, as he has “seen the photos.”
Tuesday, Fox News’ Sandra Smith asked Dingell if she would like to see Biden visit the border. Dingell shrugged her shoulders and replied, “I don’t care if he visits the border or not. That doesn’t, he doesn’t need to visit the border to know that we’ve got a problem.”
“You’ve got people that report to him every day about what the problem is,” Dingle continued.
Dingle then pointed to the question Smith asked as a problem, “Sometimes we fixate on these little issues, Do you think the president doesn’t know that we’ve got a problem at the border and what the issues are?”
Smith then asked, “Not necessary to see it first hand?” and added, “that’s a little issue?”
Dingell struggled to find the words, then responded, “I think he knows it’s got to be addressed. He’s gotten the reports, he’s seen the photos, so that’s, at some point he may or may not go, but I think he knows it’s gotta get fixed.”
