‘Bring Back Manly Men’ Candace Owens Pushes Back Against Vogue Magazine Cover of Harry Styles in a Dress

Vogue Magazine shared the cover yesterday in a tweet for their December issue and it shows singer Harry Styles wearing a couple of different outfits, including a dress.

The magazine quoted Styles in the tweet, who said, “There’s so much joy to be had in playing with clothes. I’ve never thought too much about what it means—it just becomes this extended part of creating something.”

Conservative activist Candace Owens pushed back against the suggestion, retweeting it and said, “There is no society that can survive without strong men. The East knows this.”

“In the west, the steady feminization of our men at the same time that Marxism is being taught to our children is not a coincidence. It is an outright attack. Bring back manly men,” Owens insisted.

Many on the left were very upset with Owens’ tweet including Actress Olivia Wilde, whose mother, Leslie Cockburn, is a failed Democratic Congressional candidate. Wilde told Owens, “You’re pathetic.”

Lord of the Rings actor Elijah Wood responded to Owens that he thinks she’s “missed the definition of what a man is.” Wood insisted, “Masculinity alone does not make a man, in fact, it’s got nothing to do with it.”

Owens retweeted his response and alluded to his character in the movies by saying, “DON’T TEMPT ME, FRODO!!!” She then apologized and said, “One of my favorite movies. Couldn’t miss the opportunity. I’m only human.”
