Candace Owens Applauds ‘Patriots’ Protesting, Says Her ‘Freedom Doesn’t End Where Your Fear Begins’

In a tweet yesterday, Pro-Trump activist Candace Owens called for “patriots” to “keep the protests up!” She said her “freedom doesn’t end where your fear begins” and that it’s okay if some folks want to “stay inside” but “the rest of us would like to get back to work.”

I don’t know who needs to hear this but—my freedom doesn’t end where your fear begins. I invite you to stay inside and order GrubHub for the rest of your life, but the rest of us would like to get back to work. Keep the protests up, Patriots!

Recently, Owens said that she was “stopped in Whole Foods for not wearing a mask.” A Twitter user, Melissa, who says she is a “Christian” and “Patriot” herself, referenced that situation in a response by saying that while she “wouldn’t go to whole foods every single day,” she has “no problem” with Candace doing so “because AMERICA.”

Personally I wouldn’t go to whole foods every single day, But I have no problem with you doing what you want! Because AMERICA!

Another user, Mike, sarcastically responded that he wasn’t “going outside until there’s not one single threat.” He then listed a number of “threats” that needed to be eliminated first and that he wants “100% certainty everything will be safe!!!”

I’m not going outside until there’s not one single threat. No cold viruses, no flu viruses, no bad drivers, no criminals, no smog, no dogs off of leashes, no cats with untrimmed claws… I want 100% certainty everything will be safe!!!

On Tuesday, Owens had tweeted out a similar message, saying that “It’s time to let the tin-foil hats stay home while the rest of us get back to work.” She implored that “Freedom means they are free to stay, we are free to go.”

It’s time to let the tin-foil hats stay home while the rest of us get back to work. They can order their groceries and toilet paper to their homes as they continue to wait for the #coronapocalypse. Freedom means they are free to stay, we are free to go.
