Candace Owens Calls Biden’s DOJ ‘Completely Out of Line in Interfering in With Arizona’s Audit’

AZ State Senator Wendy Rogers (R) issued a stern warning yesterday to the DOJ advising them not to interfere in the Maricopa County audit that is currently underway.

“‘Justice’ Department – you need to stay in your lane. Do not touch Arizona ballots or machines unless you want to spend time in an Arizona prison,” Rogers said in a tweet.

Pamela Karlan, the principal deputy assistant attorney general of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division sent a letter to Arizona State Senate President Karen Fann (R) asking her to explain what steps she’s taking to make sure the election audit she ordered doesn’t violate federal laws prohibiting voter intimidation and requiring ballots be preserved.

In a pair of tweets today, conservative activist Candace Owens echoed Rogers words regarding the situation and wondered why they are getting involved.

Owens asked, “Wait… Biden just authorized the Department of Justice to interfere on the Arizona election audit?? Democrats are positively shameless about what they did during the 2020 election. THE BIG LIE.”

A clearly left-wing Twitter user responded to Owens and, despite the situation appearing to be the other way around, wondered, “What are the republicans in Arizona trying to hide?”

Owens replied, “Nothing. Which is why the recount is being live-streamed.”

In a follow-up tweet, Owens declared, “Biden’s Department of Justice is completely out of line in interfering in with Arizona’s audit. What we are seeing here is a level of election corruption known only in third world countries.”

Owens then suggested, “If you didn’t cheat, why would you ever work to stop an audit of votes?”

While it has yet to be proven that widespread voter fraud occurred in the 2020 presidential election, the whole situation is uncharted territory, with the mail-in ballots and delay in the results.
