The influential comedian and former 'SNL' Weekend Update anchor was 61 https://t.co/wSbwGQ8Syp
This breaking story will be updated.
Norm MacDonald was loved by all and managed to stay out of political controversy for the most part. He didn’t join in as much as others in his field who bash former President Donald Trump and Republicans.
MacDonald had a long run and a very successful career. His comedy was known as quirky and often pushed the envelope beyond the norms, which added to his successes because he was good at what he did.
Many are tweeting out tributes to him on Twitter:
“There is no more satisfying YouTube rabbit hole than the “Norm MacDonald talk show” dive. Truly one of the funniest people who has ever lived.”

MacDonald was known for his comedy, and also movies like “Billy Madison”, “Dirty Work” and many more. He was friends with Rob Schneider, who is a more right-leaning comedian and an actor himself. He also was affiliated with actor and comedian Adam Sandler as well.
