Corey Stewart Warns About Further Unrest in Minneapolis and Throughout the Country This Weekend

In a Facebook Live video today, former Virginia Republican Senate candidate Corey Stewart predicted that the unrest would not stop in Minnesota and throughout the country, despite the arrest of one of the officers today. He blamed Antifa for much of it and defended President Trump’s tweet that was censored by Twitter.

From the video:

I am very, very concerned about what I’m seeing in Minnesota and I think what’s happening in Minnesota could very, very well happen throughout the country tonight and of course tomorrow night. Now if any of you saw, I’m sure most of you did, these very violent riots that were occurring in Minneapolis last evening. Get set for tonight, and not just in Minneapolis, but throughout Minnesota and throughout the country, and here’s why.

Number one, last night was a week night, tonight is a Friday and now we’ve got, you’re going to have even more of these crazy people out, doing their thing, etc. But what I’m really, really concerned about is this, and I’m just going to come out and say this, is that what’s happening here in Minnesota, if you watch these protests, these riots. They are not being led by residents of these neighborhoods. They are not being led by residents who are African-American.

This whole protest is part of Antifa. This has got their fingerprints all over it. You will see it. You will see that a lot of these folks who are leading these riots, they are not even from Minnesota. A lot of them, by the way, have come from Portland, Oregon, which is the epicenter for the Antifa movement across the country. And they’re destroying people’s neighborhoods and they’re destroying private property. They are threatening and endangering our police officers, our firefighters, and of course the residents of those areas.

And let me just say this in defense of what President Trump, what he said last night. When he said, you know, “after the looting comes the shooting.” And he’s absolutely correct. It’s not a threat, he’s not trying to stir up violence. What he’s trying to say is, if you look at this historically, you let this looting go on, the violence will follow.
