Damar Hamlin’s Fundraiser to Buy Toys for Needy Kids Has Raised Nearly $4M Since His Injury

A GoFundMe fundraiser started by NFL player Damar Hamlin prior to his injury to buy toys for needy kids has raised nearly $4 million since he was injured in the game last night.

Conservative commentator Clay Travis discussed the GoFundMe total on Fox News this morning, as he said over 142,000 individuals have donated.

“Sports fans have now raised over $3.5 million for Damar Hamlin’s charity, with over 142,000 individuals donating,” Travis declared in the tweet. The amount of individuals who have donated now is closing in on 150,000.

Travis also reported that Cincinnati Bengals fans have shown up outside of the hospital where Hamlin is to hold a candlelight vigil.
