DeSantis Press Sec Calls ‘Queen’ AOC’s Positive COVID Test Result ‘Ironic’ After ‘Blue Anons’ Speculated That He Had It

Christina Pushaw, the press secretary for Florida GOP Gov Ron DeSantis, weighed in after the announcement that U.S. House Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) tested positive for COVID-19.

Pushaw declared in a tweet, “Ironically the Blue Anons spent the entire week insisting to me that my own boss has COVID (he doesn’t, and did public events everyday) but now their Queen AOC has COVID.”

“I hope she gets well soon … and that politicians’ COVID tests stop being news. Everyone has or will get it,” Pushaw added.

As we previously reported, Ocasio-Cortez had a “meltdown” after being spotted with her boyfriend in Miami while COVID cases in New York City are at an all-time high.

First, Ocasio-Cortez quote tweeted a tweet from the Team DeSantis Twitter feed where they sarcastically welcomed her to the state.

In the quote tweet, Ocasio-Cortez elevated the conspiracy theory that DeSantis was “missing.”

“Hasn’t Gov. DeSantis been inexplicably missing for like 2 weeks? If he’s around, I would be happy to say hello. His social media team seems to have been posting old photos for weeks. In the meantime, perhaps I could help with local organizing. Folks are quite receptive here :),” Ocasio-Cortez claimed.

Ocasio-Cortez then suggested in a reply, “I’d also be happy to share some notes from @GovKathyHochul’s work in NY since he seems to be in need of tips!”

Newsweek reported on the “Blue Anons” speculation about DeSantis, which continued on Thursday after left-wing video producers Meidas Touch tweeted a clip of him speaking the day before.

DeSantis did appear to be struggling to get his words out at times in the clip but it certainly was not definitive proof of anything and he could simply have just been briefly choked up during a speech.

Joe Biden has similar trouble getting words out all the time and not just due to his stutter either.
