‘Disinformation Board’ Gets Put on ‘Pause’ After Jeff Bezos Mocked it in a Tweet, Josh Hawley Calls to ‘End it Forever’

It was reported this morning that the “Disinformation board” has been put on “pause” after Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos mocked it last week in a tweet and U.S. Sen Josh Hawley (R-MO) called on the Biden Administration to “end it forever.”

The Bezos-owned Washington Post and its controversial “journalist” Taylor Lorenz was also the one to break the story initially as well.

On Friday, May 13, Bezos quote tweeted Joe Biden, who had said, “You want to bring down inflation? Let’s make sure the wealthiest corporations pay their fair share.”

“The newly created Disinformation Board should review this tweet, or maybe they need to form a new Non Sequitur Board instead,” Bezos suggested.

Bezos then explained, “Raising corp taxes is fine to discuss. Taming inflation is critical to discuss. Mushing them together is just misdirection.”

The Washington Examiner‘s Byron York reported today on the Washington Post‘s article in a tweet where he said, “The news here, underneath the heavy Washington Post spin, is that the Department of Homeland Security has ‘paused’ the operations of its new Disinformation Governance Board.”

“Nina Jankowicz deciding whether or not to stay,” York added.

Hawley responded to York, “Don’t ‘pause’ the Disinformation Board. End it. Forever.”

The House Judiciary GOP, assuming that the board won’t return, pointed out in another tweet, “CNN+ lasted longer than Joe Biden’s ‘Disinformation Board.'”
