Domino’s Pizza Owns Liberal Hack on Twitter Over Kayleigh McEnany Tweet

In 2012, long before President Trump was ever elected, President Trump’s current press secretary Kayleigh McEnany posted a tweet endorsing the delicious and affordable Domino’s Pizza brand. Domino’s apparently appreciated the non-political endorsement back then, and tweeted: “@kayleighmcenany That’s one heck of a compliment! Thanks for the love! #WEAPPRECIATEIT!” See original tweet below from 8 years ago:

Blue check liberal hack Rick Wilson, (and others trying to ‘cancel’ Domino’s) tried to slam them for their kind words at McEnany in 2012. Wilson, with almost a million followers, tweeted out the old tweet and captioned it: “You just killed your brand.” Domino’s hit back though, unlike many weak and feeble corporate social media accounts, slamming him for his out of context attack, saying: “Welp. It’s unfortunate that thanking a customer for a compliment back in 2012 would be viewed as political. Guess that’s 2020 for ya.”

Many others tried to get in on the negative action according to The Blaze:

It is not clear who unearthed the ancient (in internet years) tweet, made during Barack Obama’s first presidential term.

Unfortunately, the positive message triggered an avalanche of backlash for Domino’s Pizza, with social media users saying they would no longer do business with the pizza company over the tweet.

  • “You just killed your brand,” pundit Rick Wilson claimed.
  • “Way to align yourself with a political party, Domino’s. Probably should have just been silent,” one person said.
  • “I’m out ! No more Domino’s for me!!” another person said.
  • “Well, last night was the last Dominoes pizza I’ll ever order,” another person said.
  • “This was a mistake. @kayleighmcenany @PressSec is a legitimately legendary liar,” another person told Dominos.
  • “Ask @PapaJohns what happened when the embraced the white supremacy coming out of the @WhiteHouse,” another person said.
  • “I’ll never order your pizza again. Hope your man-crush on Kayleigh was worth it,” another person said.
  • “Dominos Pizza is the enemy of the people,” another person said.
  • “F**k you @dominos,” Dave Chang responded.

McEnany has responded as well, saying she loves Dominos and Pizza Hutt too, and conservative comedian has been tweeting about the lunacy. Mark Dice had this to say: “How the liberal lunatics dug up an 8-year-old reply from Dominos about Kayleigh liking their pizza will remain one of life’s great mysteries.”

Dice also commented on the larger picture of how crazy and politically correct things have gotten, where anyone to the right of Mitt Romney seems to be the enemy of pop culture these days: “Twitter is the engine driving the Crazy Train, and the outrage over Domino’s 8-year-old reply to Kayleigh Mcenany when she was probably still in college is the proof.” See below:

Conservative pundit and journalist Pete D’Abrosca encouraged others to lambaste Wilson for his pathetic attempt at canceling an innocent pizza company for simply being glad that people like their product:

It’s no surprise to see things like this after the George Floyd Riots, Covid-19 lockdowns, and general Trump Derangement syndrome going around. Americans can only hope for some sanity to come back after this year’s presidential election.
