Former President Donald Trump plans to turn himself in on Tuesday for his arraignment in New York, according to TIME.
Thursday, a grand jury indicted the former president in connection to a payment made to porn performer Stormy Daniels. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg announced to the media that he had reached out to Trump’s team to discuss the arraignment date.
This move by Trump may not be what some want to hear. In the weeks leading up to the indictment, some of those with Trump Derangement Syndrome had shared AI-generated images of Trump being arrested.
U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) showed her bias when sharing about the news on Twitter. She said Trump must prove his innocence when the judicial system is supposed to be set up for it to have the burden of proof to prove guilt.
The case against Trump has been called weak and was passed over by the federal government previously
