Donald Trump ’Loves’ the Idea of Testifying to the Jan 6 Committee Only if ‘Live’

The House Jan. 6 Select Committee voted unanimously in favor of subpoenaing former President Donald Trump to testify in front of them.

According to a Fox News source, Trump “loves” the idea of testifying to the committee, but only if he can do so “live.”

Much like what he said in a memo that he sent to the committee yesterday, Trump talk would reportedly talk about how corrupt the election was, how corrupt the committee was, and how House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) did not call up the National Guard that Trump strongly recommended for her to do three days earlier on January 3, 2021.

Trump wrote that the memo was issued “to express our anger, disappointment, and complaint that with all of the hundreds of millions of dollars spent on what many consider to be a Charade and Witch Hunt.”

In a Truth Social post where he shared the memo, Trump shared a quote from his Jan. 6 speech: “PEACEFULLY AND PATRIOTICALLY.”

Trump also shared a clip of Chuck Todd discussing the decision to issue the subpoena on MSNBC. Todd described the move as “theater,” which has set liberals into a frenzy on Twitter.

One Beto O’Rourke supporter declared, “Chuck Todd is one of the best examples of the decay of political journalism.”

“He’s gamifying the Jan 6th committee’s decision to announce a subpoena today. ‘Why not sooner?’ It’s fine to be honest about why, but to cast doubt like it’s a TV drama is ridiculous.” he insisted.

Another left-wing Twitter user, Fritz Alverez, wondered, “Where are the MSNBC heavy weights (like Maddow)?”

“Chuck Todd appears to suck as usual. Claiming ‘theater’ on the part of the committee. Todd seems to always apologize for Republicans. To him the Secret Service is the culprit. Changing channels now! #MSNBC you suck under Chuck!” he griped.
