Democrats and Trump-hating RINOs alike continually push the DeSantis Vs. Trump narrative. However, Donald Trump just blew their hopes, dreams, and ambitions out of the water.
A straw poll at TPUSA’s SAS shows 78.7% of attendees who participated want Trump back in the White House. 19% want DeSantis, and 1% want South Dakota Republican Governor Kristi Noem.
Ron DeSantis attended the event as well. Some people want DeSantis to run, some want him to stay on good terms with Trump and either wait or run as VP.
Some RINOs just hate Trump. Many Democrats want a Trump DeSantis feud as they fear a Trump return. However, CNN probably misses the good ratings Trump gave them, and secretly wants his return in our view.
Trump spoke last night at the TPUSA event. DeSantis spoke previously the night before. Trump hasn’t announced yet for 2024 but it is largely expected.
Polls like this likely will continue to show Trump as the GOP frontrunner. “Haters” will continue to do what they do, however.
