Dr. Fauci Suggests Giving up ‘Individual Rights’ for the ‘Greater Good’

Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Anthony Fauci said Sunday that Americans may have to give up their “individual rights” for the “greater good of society”.

“DR. FAUCI ON VACCINE MANDATES: “There comes a time when you do have to give up what you consider your individual right of making your own decision for the greater good of society.”

Dr. Fauci said, “I think what people have to appreciate is that indeed you do have personal liberties for yourself, and you should be in control of them. But, you are a member of society and as a member of society, reaping all the benefits of being a member of society, you have a responsibility to society, and I think each of us, particularly in the context of a pandemic that’s killing millions of people, you have got to look at it and say there comes a time when you do have to give up what you consider your individual right of making your own decision for the greater good of society.”

While millions of Americans have been or are going to be faced with the decision of getting vaccinated or fired, some may feel their individual rights granted to them in the U.S. constitution are being grossly violated. However, Dr. Fauci doesn’t seem too concerned about whether or not Americans have to give up their individual rights.

For about 18 months many Americans feel they have have been forced by the government to forfeit their rights in the constitution in order to obey the Covid-19 rules and restrictions implemented by the Government at the Federal and state levels. Now many Americans are growing tired of what they see as “tyranny” and want their normal life back.

Both Dr. Fauci and Biden have said in the past that they had no plans or intentions of mandating the vaccine however multiple vaccine mandates have come about for federal employees, healthcare workers, and even California students.

As we previously reported, “Democrat Californa Governor Gavin Newsom has announced he will be requiring all students in California to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Some on the right have pointed out that more children died from the flu in 2018 than have from COVID-19 in 2020. However, during the 2018 flu season, the flu vaccine was not required for California students.

While young students will be forced to be vaccinated, there has yet to be a vaccine mandate come down from Newsom for teachers. Some may wonder why should students have to get the vaccine but not teachers who are older and therefore more likely to be hospitalized or die from Covid-19?”
