Pennsylvania Republican Senatorial candidate Dr. Oz, reportedly told Oprah Winfrey to not endorse him so she doesn’t get “hurt”. This comes as Winfrey helped Dr. Oz start his own radio show leading some leftists to be angry with her for helping prop up his career.

Dr. Oz and Oprah Winfrey are known to be good friends however he said, “I asked her to stay out. Don’t support me because if you get involved in any way, you’ll get hurt and I don’t want my friends hurt.” According to Dr. Oz, Orpah would be hurt by endorsing him.
Though some may have other theories surrounding why Dr. Oz wouldn’t want someone well-known like Oprah to endorse him. Winfrey is known to hold many liberal views and is anti-Trump but Dr. Oz is friends with her.
In fact, Donald Trump tweeted on February 19, 2018. “Just watched a very insecure Oprah Winfrey, who at one point I knew very well, interview a panel of people on 60 Minutes. The questions were biased and slanted, the facts incorrect. Hope Oprah runs so she can be exposed and defeated just like all of the others!”
Many prominent Republicans have attacked Dr. Oz for being too liberal on some issues and some even see him as a fraud. Some may argue he doesn’t want Oprah to endorse him as it would hurt him in the Republican primary come 2022.
