During Met Gala Appearance, Elon Musk Vows to Make Twitter As ‘Inclusive As Possible’ Should the Deal Go Through

Elon Musk appeared tonight at the Met Gala, the first time that he has attended a public event since locking in a deal to purchase Twitter.

Accompanied by his mother Maye, Elon was interviewed by La La Anthony on the Red Carpet where she asked “What can you tell us about what you’re going to bring to Twitter now?”

“My goal, assuming everything gets done, would be to make Twitter as inclusive as possible and to have as broad a swathe of the country and the rest of the world on Twitter,” Musk responded.

Musk added, “And that they find it interesting and entertaining and funny and that it makes their life better.”

Musk was also asked about his outfit for the event, which was staged with the theme Gilded Glamor, to which he replied, “Just following the dress code.”

Vogue tweeted about his arrival and said, “@Elon Musk has arrived. He described his look as “just following the dress code.” His mother @mayemuskis wearing @Dior and Chopard.”

The magazine, however, did not actually tag Musk, rather they tagged a far-left Twitter user who was an “early adopter” of the platform.

Musk was able to locate the tweet, even still, and responded, “How do you do?”

Many on the left seemed doubtful that Musk would, in fact, deliver a more “inclusive” Twitter as that is typically a word used by the left to mean fewer conservatives ultimately in our view.
