Election Integrity Stalwart Wendy Rogers Issues Patriotic & Heartfelt Independence Day Message

In an email that was sent out to those that follow Wendy Rogers, the freshman Arizona State Senator displayed a message of true patriotism for this Fourth of July:

“The Continental Congress declared that the thirteen American colonies were no longer subordinate to the monarch of Britain, King George III, and were now united, free, and independent states. The Congress had voted to declare independence two days earlier, on July 2, but it was not declared until July 4.

Today, July 4, 2021, we Arizonans are reasserting our independence as a state by showing that we are not subject to federal government meddling in our elections.

Pushing back against over-reaching government and standing up to tyranny is the spirit of 1776.

Let this day commemorate our redoubling of effort toward this worthy cause.

Happy Independence Day,

Wendy Rogers, Lt Col USAF (ret)
Arizona State Senator
Arizona’s 6th Legislative District”

Rogers has taken a strong stance in defending Arizona’s elections from the meddling of the federal government. When US Attorney General Merrick Garland announced that the Justice Department would be scrutinizing post-election audits, Rogers tweeted directly at the Attorney General. “You will not touch Arizona ballots or machines unless you want to spend time in an Arizona prison. Maybe you should focus on stopping terrorism. The Justice Department is one of the most corrupt institutions in the USA.”

Arizona is setting the standard with its forensic audit of Maricopa County ballots from the 2020 election. Many political figures, including Georgia gubernatorial candidate Vernon Jones and Pennsylvania Sen. Doug Mastriano, have come from all over the country to tour the audit with Rogers and other Arizona Congressmen to see what they are doing in Arizona.

Wendy Rogers will continue to fight for election integrity and to secure our future elections.

Happy Fourth of July!
