Elementary School Principal Takes Down Twitter Account After Backlash From Maskless Stacey Abrams Photo With Masked Up Students

A Georgia Elementary School principal has taken down her Twitter account after backlash from a maskless Stacey Abrams photo.

In the photo, Abrams can be seen sitting cross-legged with a group of masked up elementary school students.

The principal, Dr. Holly Brookins, thanked Abrams for coming to the school for an “African-American read-in” to celebrate Black History Month in the now unavailable tweet.

There was also another photo of Abrams standing maskless with an adult who was wearing a mask.

Abrams quote tweeted Brookins and thanked her for the invite as well as described the school with positive adjectives.

Prior to Brookins nuking her account, Libs of Tik Tok asked, “Hi @staceyabrams and @hmbrookins, why did both of you delete these tweets?”

“The principal who tweeted the photos deleted her account LOL,” Libs of Tik Tok declared less than 10 minutes later in a reply tweet.

Not long thereafter, Clay Travis also brought attention to the situation in a three-part tweet where he began, “The number of left wing politicians who post photos posing without masks while all the kids around them are wearing masks is stunning. Here is Stacey Abrams doing it. This is child abuse.”

“It’s also worth noting that as an obese adult Abrams is the person in this photo who is statistically at risk from covid the most BY FAR. Not the kids. At all,” Travis continued.

Travis concluded, “I look forward to Abrams’s explanation for this photo. Maybe she was holding her breath like LA’s mayor.”
